For schools & pre-schools
Run admission season on WhatsApp.
Parents ask about fees, board, age criteria, transport routes and seat availability — all day, mostly on WhatsApp. Modus answers instantly and accurately from your admissions material, qualifies each enquiry by grade and locality, and books campus visits, so your front desk can look after the parents actually standing in front of them.
- Parent Q&A answered instantly
- Enquiries qualified by grade & locality
- Campus visits booked automatically
₹1L – ₹5L / year
Annual fee for one admitted child, for five to fourteen years — which is what an admission enquiry is really worth
Today
What it looks like right now.
Admission enquiries land on WhatsApp all day; the front desk replies between visitors, and parents wait hours for an answer they needed immediately.
The same questions repeat hundreds of times a season — fee structure, board, age cut-off, documents, transport routes, timings, seat availability.
A parent who enquired in December is never followed up, and the seat goes to whichever school stayed in touch.
Nobody can say how many live enquiries exist per grade, or which parents are one nudge away from paying the fee.
The arithmetic
One extra admission covers the year
A school admission is not a one-time sale — it is annual fees for as long as the child stays. Converting a handful of enquiries you would otherwise have lost to a slow reply changes the season's numbers.

Where the money went
Which campaign filled the seats?
Admission season spend goes out across Meta, hoardings and school fairs, and the report that comes back counts enquiries. Modus keeps the ad on the parent record through the campus visit to the admission, so you can compare cost per admitted child across campaigns — and plan next season on that instead of on last season's enquiry count.

The agent
What it does on every enquiry.
Admissions Q&A in your school's words
Trained on your fee structure, board (CBSE / ICSE / IB / state), age criteria, document list, transport routes and timings. Parents get the same answer the admissions office would give, at 11pm.
Qualified by grade, age and locality
The agent captures the child's grade, age and the family's locality, then scores the enquiry — so your counsellors call the parents who match an open seat first.
Campus visits and counselling slots
Interested parents share a preferred day and time in the chat; it reaches your admissions team with the full conversation, and a reminder goes out before the visit.
Form, document and fee reminders
Pending forms, missing documents and fee deadlines get timed WhatsApp reminders instead of a phone call nobody has time to make.
Replies in the parent's language
Set the languages your community actually uses and the agent answers in whichever one the parent writes in — the same accuracy in each.
Every branch on one dashboard
Multi-branch groups get a board per school, so each principal sees their own enquiries while the trust sees the whole admission funnel.
In practice
How it runs.
- 01
Parent messages the school
From a Meta ad, your website, a school listing or a referral — the enquiry starts on WhatsApp and is answered at once.
- 02
AI answers and qualifies
Fees, curriculum, transport, criteria — answered from your material. Grade, age and locality captured and scored.
- 03
Admissions team converts
Warm families arrive with a campus visit slot and full context; the rest keep getting nudged until the seat is confirmed.
Questions we get asked
Will it commit a seat or a fee concession?
No. It answers from the published fee structure and criteria you upload, and anything discretionary — concessions, sibling waivers, mid-session admissions — is routed to your admissions head instead of being promised.
Is parent data safe?
Conversations run on the official WhatsApp Business API on your own number, and each school's data is isolated to its own account in Modus. We do not sell or share it, and only your authorised staff can see the inbox.
Does it replace our front desk or ERP?
Neither. It removes the repetitive question load from the front desk and gives you an admissions pipeline view. Your school ERP stays your record of enrolled students; Modus can push events to it via webhooks.
What happens with an anxious or upset parent?
The agent recognises escalation — complaints, urgent issues, a request for the principal — and hands the conversation to a human immediately with everything said so far.
Can we use it after admission season?
Yes. The same number becomes your parent-communication channel: fee reminders, event notices, transport updates and re-enrolment nudges, all from the same dashboard.
Stop guessing which enquiries were worth it.
One agent works every lead on your own number and your website — and every deal it closes is traced back to what produced it. We handle the setup.
